March 31st is World Backup Day!
Computer storage fails. Devices are stolen. Natural and man-made disasters occur. Malware encrypts data.
We all need backup routines in place to protect our valuable image files — routines that follow the 3-2-1 backup rule:
- 3 copies of everything
- 2 different media
- 1 copy stored off-site
In case you need help with improving your backup routine, talk to the folks at our help table at the back of the room during the next mid-meeting break.
If you need more detailed help, book a session with the Kanata Seniors Council tech tutors who can help with Windows, Apple, & Android backup solutions.
