About Us

Mission Statement

Our club aims to foster educational growth of member’s artistic vision, creativity and technical knowledge. This is accomplished through our monthly meetings, photo assignments and guest speakers. We enjoy sharing our photographs in a friendly, non-competitive environment of critique and discussion. All levels of photographers are welcome

Meetings

The club is run by volunteers and we normally meet on the first Friday of each month, September to June, from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. in the Kanata Seniors’ Centre, 2500 Campeau, Drive, Kanata, Ontario.  (Changes for 2022/23 are September 9th at 8:30 a.m., October 14th and April 14th).  If you subscribe to the website you will receive a post with any changes and you can also check under the Upcoming events on every page.

Check under News to see a list of recent news items and activities.

During monthly meetings we offer workshops, professional guest speakers, educational information, suggested resources and slide shows of member photographs.  We also have photo challenges where members are encouraged to challenge themselves and improve their photographic skill.
