About Us

Mission Statement

Our club aims to foster educational growth of member’s artistic vision, creativity and technical knowledge. This is accomplished through our monthly meetings, photo assignments and guest speakers. We enjoy sharing our photographs in a friendly, non-competitive environment of critique and discussion. All levels of photographers are welcome

Meetings

The club is run by volunteers and we normally meet on the first Friday of each month, September to June, from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. in the Kanata Seniors’ Centre, 2500 Campeau, Drive, Kanata, Ontario.  During the Covid-19 pandemic we are meeting online, at the same date and time, using Google Meet.  For more information go to Get Help/Online Meetings.

Check under News to see a list of recent news items and activities.

During monthly meetings we offer workshops, professional guest speakers, educational information, suggested resources and slide shows of member photographs.  We also have photo challenges where members are encouraged to challenge themselves and improve their photographic skill.
