See you at the meeting.
Here are a few different ways to create a Triptych for those of you who want to submit (up to 3 allowed):
Also, when you submit your triptych, please indicate if you would like to talk about one at the meeting (similar to how we do the Monthly Review of photos). For those of you non-procrastinators who have already submitted :), send an email to contact@ksccc.ca if you would like to add one of your already submitted images for review.

What can a 9 year old teach you about photography? A lot more than you’d think. In this inspiring episode of Visual Education, Karl Taylor sits down with Jamie Smart, also known as the Eagle Eyed Girl, an award-winning young photographer who’s already leaving seasoned pros in awe. From waking at dawn to capture elusive birds, to handholding an 800mm lens and mastering macro flash techniques, Jamie’s skill and passion for wildlife photography are truly next level.

Debbie Pinard, one of our Camera Club Members, will give a presentation on Florence, Tuscany & Venice on Friday May 2, 2025.
Debbie has been taking photographs for over 40 years, first starting out with film, and then switching to digital with a Canon Powershot and then a Canon Rebel. She currently uses a Canon R7 mirrorless, and a Canon t2i converted to infrared.
In November 2024, Debbie went on a photography trip to Italy. She spent an afternoon and a morning in Florence, then met up with her private tour guide Leonardo Papera, a professional landscape photographer (https://tuscanyphotographytours.com/). From Florence they drove to Pienza which was their home base for the next 5 days. They were blessed to have fog every single morning (which helped make up for the 5am wakeups!). From there they drove to Venice where they spent 3 days. This was the first trip that she brought a tripod, and made good use of it.
This will be a jam-packed presentation of photos from all 3 places and includes 6 videos. It will be available online after the presentation (including the videos).
You can see some of her images at https://deborahpinard.com/ or on her Facebook page.
