Ted will give a presentation entitled “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!, Oh, the Things You’ll See!, Oh, the Money You’ll Spend!, Underwater Photography: the Story Behind the Pictures” on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

Based on Ted’s presentation from last year, he will revisit some underwater images telling the story behind the photographs. With examples drawn from wide angle to macro, natural light, artificial light, and night time, he will explore and describe the techniques of lighting and exposure in the underwater world. He also will describe how he sets up his underwater equipment to make the most efficient use of time underwater. After the presentation all club members are invited to have a look at Ted’s gear and try their hand at making a macro image.
