Lynda Buske
At our September 8th meeting, the KSCCC is pleased to welcome Lynda Buske.
Lynda is a photography enthusiast and was an Ottawa Public Library volunteer lecturer for many years with a special interest in travel photos, photo editing, and sharing images in various ways. Lynda writes the Through The Lens column on digital photography for the Ottawa PC Users Group. She is currently the Director of Competitions at the Orleans Photo Club. She got her first camera (Brownie) at the age of 10 and has never been without one since. Her favourite time to shoot is before dawn where, year-round, you will find her at various locations around the city.

The next monthly meeting will be held on Friday, September 8 starting at 9:15 a.m.
The agenda for the meeting is:

Ginny Fobert (who has made several presentations to our club) and 3 other artists are opening the new Carleton Place Gallery on Thursday, August 24th. Location, hours, contact information, and other details are on their website.
They’re only 25 minutes away. Why not take a look.
We wish them good luck!
In today’s meeting, we showed Amy Lo’s slideshow with examples of the watercolour effect.
The technique she used is explained in this video:
