Sandy Sharkey will give a presentation entitled “How Photography Can Elicit Positive Change in the World” on Friday, February 4th, 2022.
Sandy is a well-known personality in Ottawa, having been a morning show radio announcer for over 25 years. Her long-time passion has been photography, especially photography of wild horses. She is a professional equine photographer who travels extensively to capture the beauty of wild horses. Through her many public speaking engagements Sandy raises awareness about the issues facing wild horses.
In this presentation, Sandy will discuss a life-changing event that would lift her photography beyond artistry. Realizing that her photography could help elicit change, Sandy joined forces with photographers around the world in efforts to save wild mustangs from disappearing forever. Her presentation will inspire you to see the impact behind photography, and how you can use your images to effect positive change for the future.
