May Monthly Meeting

The next monthly meeting will be held on Friday, May 1st starting at 9:15 a.m.

Your Monthly Challenge images must be emailed to contact@ksccc.ca by noon on Friday, April 24th to be included in the meeting. Indicate clearly in your email that your images are for the Monthly Challenge and which one you would like to submit for the Photo Review. You may send up to three images for the Monthly Challenge, and you may nominate one image for the Monthly Photo Review. Please follow the naming guideline for your pictures as outlined here (Photo Title by Your Name.jpg).

NOTE: If you do not receive an email confirming that your images have been received, send a follow-up email to contact@ksccc.ca. For details on how to submit photos, including formats and titles, go to our Pictures/How to Submit page.

The agenda for the meeting is:

  • Opening Remarks
  • We are in need of new executive members. A quick presentation on the roles and responsibilities.
  • We need more slideshows/videos for our June Member’s meeting
  • REMINDER: Our year-long “Selfie” project
  • Presentation “Alberta Photography Trip” by Debbie Pinard, Amy Lo and Jane Phipps
    • Coffee Break
  • Slideshow of Member Images from the Challenge on “Colour Splash”
  • Monthly Photo Review
  • The next Meeting will be on Friday June 5th
  • The theme for the Monthly Challenge will be “Visions of Canada“, photos to be sent by noon Friday May 29th. Images that say, “That’s my Canada”.  Could be food (poutine, beavertails, Sugar Shacks), events, locations.
  • Fix My Pic submissions
  • Member Slideshow if time permits
  • Concluding Remarks
