Fast Blue Helmet by Michele Doran
The next monthly meeting will be held on Friday, November 6th starting at 9:15 a.m.
Your Monthly Challenge images must be emailed to contact@ksccc.ca by noon on Friday, October 30th to be included in the meeting. You may send up to three images for the Monthly Challenge.
We have replaced the monthly review with a new concept we are calling “My Photo – What’s the Story?”. We would encourage members to nominate one of their monthly images for this, and to tell us the story behind their image. You can also ask members to comment on the image if you want to.
Please follow the naming guideline for your pictures as outlined here (Photo Title by Your Name.jpg).
NOTE: If you do not receive an email confirming that your images have been received by Saturday morning, send a follow-up email to Debbie at debbie.pinard@gmail.com.
For details on how to submit photos, including formats and titles, go to our Pictures/How to Submit page.
The agenda for the meeting is:
- Opening Remarks
- Presentation “More Than a Snapshot” by Ramin Izadpanah
- Coffee Break – “Free Table”
- Slideshow of Member Images from the Challenge on “Hats – with or without hair”
- My Photo – What’s the Story?
- If time permits — “AI as a Photo Assistant – First Encounter” by Ted Timmins
- Fix my Pic and Member submitted slideshows if time permits.
- The next Meeting will be on Friday December 4th. The theme for the Monthly Challenge will be “Water, water everywhere“, photos to be sent by noon Friday November 27th. Water makes up most of our bodies and is present in some amount in just about everything. We need it to live – but not too much. All states of water can be included in your image – ice, steam, vapour, snow, etc.
- Concluding Remarks
See you at the meeting.
